Hats For A Purpose: Mission Accomplished

Happy News!  Today, we distributed 125 beautiful handmade winter Hats to children in need n Southern Saratoga County.  Thanks to all the talented people who knit, crocheted or wove hats – it was a rainbow of colors.  As I hear back from any of the groups distributing the hats, I will let you know.

Earlier in October, we sent an additional 100 Hats For A Purpose down to Schoharie County for distribution to the children there who lost their clothing in the devastating floods that followed Tropical Storm Irene.

Think of 225 children wearing what you created.  Think of 225 children wearing something brand new and warm.  What a lovely tribute to each of you.

I know several of you have started working on Hats for next October.  That’s terrific!  Let me know if you would like to help once again to make a difference in the life of a child?
